Provision of short-term payments for transportation, food, essential utilities or medication assistance.
Provision of food, meals or nutritional supplements
Housing and Shelter
Provision of short-term or emergency financial assistance to support temporary and/or transitional housing to enable an individual to gain or maintain medical care.
Provision of legal services directly necessitated by a person’s HIV status.
Professional diagnostic and medical services from a physician, physicians’ assistant, clinical nurse specialist or nurse specialist or nurse practitioner in an outpatient, community-based or office-based setting.
Psychological and psychiatric treatment and counseling services.
Provision of nutritional education and/or counseling provided by a registered dietitian.
Identifying individuals in a community at risk or who may not know their status so they can be HIV tested.
Substance Abuse Treatment
Provision of treatment and/or counseling to address substance abuse issues provided in an outpatient or residential health service setting.
Periodic group meetings where individuals in similar circumstances get together to provide support to each other.
Syringe Exchange Program
A center where drug users can exchange used hypodermic syringes for new ones.
Language translation or translation for the hearing impaired.
Transportation services provided to a client in order to access primary medical care or psychological support services.
